CUPRA: the dawn of a new era

Originating from the "Special Vehicles Division" of the Spanish car manufacturer SEAT, the subsidiary CUPRA has now been a brand in its own right since the beginning of 2018. Many people are probably familiar with the name in the context of SEAT's Leon model range, but the company has now evolved significantly. Meanwhile, the brand unveiled its first standalone model, the CUPRA Ateca, at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, to be followed by sports versions of the Ibiza and Arona. Just a year later, the CUPRA Formentor, a sporty SUV coupé, was unveiled for a 2020 market launch.
